Don’t throw the peel away yet! There is more fun to be had! Why waste a banana peel when you can turn it into an activity? HA! This is just a very simple color matching game that can be done before the banana is peeled or after using the leftover peel.
My kids used push pins to push in the dots on the banana (which I colored with permanent markers) but you could also use colored toothpicks. I know that pins can be sharp for kids but I take this as a perfect opportunity to teach about safety and which end to touch. You never know when they might find one on the floor or something similar and you will thank yourself for doing the banana poke!
