To stay on the pumpkin trend and since I love connecting things (see previous posts) I decided I would create a connect the pumpkin sequence activity for my boys. When making a sequencing activity you basically just need to think of some different steps and put them together, which is what I did.
First the full pumpkin, second the carved out eyes and third the finished face. By doing these kinds of sequencing activities you are helping your child to learn routines and develop key academic skills like reading comprehension and scientific inquiry as well as helps them to recognize patterns in the world!
