This is a great activity that you and your child can make together. Since young children can’t tell time yet, this is a perfect way for them to visually see time going down while you control the time.
Stoplights are very simple and you can make them however you want (PDF of Stoplight image is attached at the bottom of this post). If you have velcro, you can put that on the back of the arrow to move around — I just used tape. This is a great idea for parents because you are the one controlling the time. Make sure your child participates in moving the arrow!
