I thought I would jump on the turkey bandwagon by having my kiddos make symmetrical turkey feathers! Drawing polka dots or drawing in a circular motion is a great fine motor and pre-writing skill which is why I chose to do polka dots (but you could do any design). I also liked that my kids needed to count the polka dots to make the other side symmetrical—so A LOT of learning going on in this activity!
As you can see in the picture, I drew the one side of the feather and my kids started making the symmetrical side–that is all there is to it!
