September means apple season so let’s get in the spirit! We did another super simple activity that doesn’t require a lot of set-up. With markers, I drew 3 trees on a piece of paper and added red, yellow and green apples to them.
I then slid the paper into a sheet protector (or laminated paper works) and put water in little cups with red, yellow and green food coloring for the apple colors. Next my kids used the eye droppers to add the corresponding colored apples to the tree!
And the best part was it was so simple to clean up because a paper towel immediately soaks all those drops up and you can do it all over again!
