As I have stated before, my kids LOVE Legos. My son loves to put the sets he gets together and he is quite good at it. To challenge him I built some different structures and asked him to build the same one!

These were pretty simple but he loved the fact that he had to try to make what I did! There are so many skills being worked on here:Fine motor (putting Legos together)Math (size, color, shape of Lego needed)Cognitive (problem solving)Social-Emotional (following directions and attending to an activity) 

At Early Childhood Screening (assessment before kindergarten), kids have to copy how their assessor builds things and they accumulate points on if they can make a replica of it. So this is a perfect way to practice this!
