This project required a little bit of leg work before getting going as I cut apart colored paper from coupons, magazines, newspapers and sorted them out by colors — but if you’ve got little helpers at home that are old enough it can also be a good way to get them engaged from the start!
To give the eggs a little extra shine I added a row of aluminum foil, but that’s entirely up to you! Then I drew lines on an egg for the kids to fill in; as you can see in pictures, for my youngest I just drew 3 portions for him to fill in and for my oldest I did 5 so you can simply or make it harder depending on what is appropriate for your child.
